Animated Postcard

In this part of our sight project my goal was to create an animation which allowed my font poem would transition smoothly to my postcard. I had never used animation on photoshop prior to this assignment. I was surprised that I did not have many problems with the animation aspect and found it relatively easy to follow along as our professor guided us through the steps.

The only thing that I had a little bit of trouble with was the "tweening" aspect of this assignment. I had never heard of "tweening," which I now know is a tool in photoshop that creates a smooth transition from one image to another. When it is finished it looks the images are morphing into each other.

Over all I was very proud of my results. The animated postcard really tied everything in the sight project together for me and seemed like the "grand finale" of the project. If I had more time I would have thought longer about the subject for my shoe image. I would have tied my Beatles lyrics in with the image in my postcard.
